Wild Paw Club Academy
Privacy Policy & Terms of Service • Effective Date: 2026
Overview — Definitions & Scope
This document combines a Privacy Policy (Part One) and Terms of Service (Part Two), followed by general terms that apply to both (Part Three). It governs the use of wildpawclub.com (the Academy), the online dog-training school operated under the trade name Wild Paw Club, through which Wild Paw Club Academy offers video courses, memberships, a free five-day email course, and trainer feedback.
By using the Academy, creating an account, subscribing to its emails, or purchasing a course or membership, a person agrees to both the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service set out below. Anyone who does not agree should not use the Academy.
0.1 Defined Terms
The Academy means the website at wildpawclub.com and the courses, memberships, content, emails, and features made available through it.
Student. Any person who visits, creates an account with, subscribes to emails from, or enrols through the Academy is referred to as a Student.
The Wild Paw Parties. Wild Paw Club together with its owner, operators, trainers, contractors, contributors, and agents are referred to collectively as the Wild Paw Parties.
0.2 Order of Precedence
If a conflict arises between the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, the provision more specific to the matter in question controls. The general terms in Part Three apply to both. Wild Paw Club operates the Academy as a trade name and does not disclose a separate legal entity or physical address through the Academy.
Part Two — Terms of Service
¶ 13 — Acceptance and Eligibility
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement governing use of the Academy. By using the Academy, creating an account, subscribing, or purchasing, a Student accepts these Terms. The Academy is intended for persons who are at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract, and by using it a Student represents that they meet these requirements.
¶ 14 — Accounts and Registration
Some features require an account. A Student agrees to provide accurate information, to keep their password secure, and to be responsible for all activity under their account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. A Student must notify Wild Paw Club promptly of any unauthorized use. Wild Paw Club may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or is used unlawfully.
¶ 15 — The Courses and Memberships
The Academy offers structured, reward-based dog-training video courses, memberships, and optional trainer feedback. The courses are educational and provide general training guidance. Outcomes depend on many factors outside anyone’s control, including the dog, the handler’s consistency, and the environment, and no particular training result is promised or guaranteed. Wild Paw Club may add, change, or discontinue courses, features, or content at any time.
¶ 16 — Pet-Training Disclaimer and Safety
Training guidance on the Academy is general information, not veterinary or professional behavioural advice, and using the Academy does not create any professional relationship.
THE TRAINING CONTENT ON THE ACADEMY IS GENERAL GUIDANCE ONLY AND DOES NOT REPLACE A VISIT TO A VETERINARIAN OR A QUALIFIED IN-PERSON BEHAVIOUR PROFESSIONAL. IF A DOG HAS BITTEN, SHOWS AGGRESSION, OR IF A STUDENT FEELS UNSAFE, STOP AND SEEK A VET CHECK AND IN-PERSON PROFESSIONAL HELP. A STUDENT IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR DOG’S BEHAVIOUR AND FOR TRAINING SAFELY, INCLUDING SUPERVISING CHILDREN AND OTHER ANIMALS, AND ASSUMES ALL RISK ARISING FROM APPLYING ANY TRAINING GUIDANCE.
¶ 17 — Purchases, Pricing and Payment
Courses may be bought once, and memberships are offered on a recurring basis. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change at any time, but a change does not affect an order already placed or the current paid term of a subscription. Payment is collected through a third-party payment processor; by purchasing, a Student agrees to that processor’s terms and represents that the payment method used is their own and authorized. A Student is responsible for any applicable taxes not collected at checkout.
¶ 18 — Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Club membership and Coached plans are subscriptions that automatically renew each month until cancelled. By subscribing, a Student authorizes Wild Paw Club, through its payment processor, to charge the then-current fee to the payment method on file at the start of each billing period. A Student may cancel at any time from their account; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid month, during which access continues. Fees already paid are not refunded on cancellation (see ¶ 20). If a subscription price changes, notice will be given before it applies, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance of the new price.
¶ 19 — Digital Content — License and Access
Upon completed payment, a Student is granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the purchased courses and content for their own, non-commercial dog-training use. A single purchased course remains accessible to the Student’s account; membership content remains available only while a membership is active. A Student may not share account access, download for redistribution, resell, sublicense, publish, or create derivative works from any course or content. Wild Paw Club retains all ownership of the courses and content.
¶ 20 — No Refunds
Because courses and memberships are digital content made available immediately, all sales are final and no refunds are provided, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not entitle a Student to a refund of the current or any past billing period. By purchasing, a Student acknowledges immediate access and expressly consents to this no-refund policy.
¶ 21 — Uploaded Clips and User Content
A Student may upload short training clips or other content for feedback. By uploading, a Student grants Wild Paw Club a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, use, and display that content for the purpose of providing the service and feedback. A Student represents that they own or have the right to upload the content, that any person appearing in it has consented, and that it is lawful and not infringing. Content must not include anything unlawful, harmful, or that violates a third party’s rights. Wild Paw Club may remove any content at its discretion. Uploaded content is not treated as confidential.
¶ 22 — Trainer Feedback
Where a plan includes trainer feedback, that feedback is general, educational guidance based only on the information and clips a Student provides. It is not veterinary or professional behavioural advice, is not guaranteed to produce any result, and is not a substitute for in-person help where a dog’s behaviour calls for it (see ¶ 16).
¶ 23 — Intellectual Property
The Academy and its contents, including videos, text, graphics, logos, layout, course materials, and the trade names Wild Paw Club and Wild Paw Club Academy, are owned by or licensed to the operator of the Academy and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license granted above and ordinary personal browsing, a Student may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.
¶ 24 — Acceptable Use
A Student agrees not to:
- use the Academy for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- share account credentials or give others access to paid content;
- download, copy, record, or redistribute course videos or materials except as expressly permitted;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Academy or interfere with its operation;
- use automated means to scrape or harvest content or data from the Academy; or
- upload unlawful content or impersonate any person.
¶ 25 — Third-Party Links
The Academy may contain links to third-party websites or resources, including the Wild Paw Club blog, provided for convenience only. Wild Paw Club does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third party, and a Student accesses them at their own risk and subject to the third party’s own terms.
¶ 26 — Disclaimer of Warranties
THE ACADEMY AND ALL COURSES, CONTENT, AND FEEDBACK ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NO WARRANTY IS MADE THAT THE ACADEMY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT OR TRAINING GUIDANCE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.
¶ 27 — Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WILD PAW PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, OR FOR ANY INJURY TO PERSONS OR ANIMALS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE ACADEMY OR ANY TRAINING GUIDANCE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE WILD PAW PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE ACADEMY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT THE STUDENT PAID TO WILD PAW CLUB IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to a particular Student; in that case, liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
¶ 28 — Indemnification
A Student agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Wild Paw Parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with the Student’s use of the Academy, uploaded content, their dog’s behaviour, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party right.
Part Three — General Terms
¶ 29 — Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration
29.1 Informal Resolution
Before starting any formal proceeding, a Student agrees to first contact Wild Paw Club at the address below and to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
29.2 Agreement to Arbitrate
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Academy or this document that is not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration will be conducted remotely by videoconference where possible, or otherwise in the United States. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
29.3 Exceptions
Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and Wild Paw Club may seek injunctive relief in court to protect its intellectual property or stop unauthorized access. These matters are not subject to arbitration.
29.4 Class-Action Waiver
All disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. A Student and Wild Paw Club each waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action, and the arbitrator may not preside over any form of representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to any claim, then the agreement to arbitrate does not apply to that claim, which will instead proceed in court.
29.5 Opt-Out
A Student may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to the contact email below within thirty (30) days of first accepting this document. A valid opt-out does not affect any other provision.
¶ 30 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This document and any dispute arising under it are governed by the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. To the extent any matter is not subject to arbitration as described above, it will be brought exclusively in the competent federal courts of the United States, and each Student consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.
¶ 31 — Changes to This Document
This document may be updated from time to time. When it is, the revised version will be posted at wildpawclub.com with a new effective date, and the updated terms apply from the date of posting. For material changes affecting a subscription, notice will be given before the next renewal. Continued use of the Academy after a change means the change is accepted.
¶ 32 — General Provisions
32.1 Severability
If any provision of this document is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
32.2 Survival
The provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, no-refund policy, and dispute-resolution terms — survive any termination of a Student’s account or access.
32.3 Entire Agreement
This document, consisting of the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, and these general terms, is the entire agreement between a Student and Wild Paw Club regarding the Academy and supersedes any prior understanding on that subject.
32.4 Assignment
A Student may not assign their rights under this document without prior written consent. Wild Paw Club may assign it freely, including in connection with any transfer of the business operated under its trade name.
32.5 No Waiver
A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
32.6 Force Majeure
Wild Paw Club is not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
